Deposits:

Order Deposit: Deposits received before a litter is born are considered “Order Deposits” and determine the order in which buyer's choose; (i.e. first deposit receives first choice). An order deposit is $250 and Is Refundable if a specific color or sex is unavailable or it can be rolled over onto the next available litter.

 

Puppy Deposit: Deposits received on a puppy that the Buyer has picked out are $500, unless otherwise discussed. If a prior “order deposit” was placed, then an additional $250 is due once the Buyer has picked out a puppy. *Puppy deposits are Non-Refundable once a puppy is placed on hold for the Buyer.

 

Registration:

Seller and Buyer agree that the above described puppy is a purebred Toy/Mini/Standard Australian Shepherd.

_______This puppy is out of registered parents and will be sold with Limited/Full Registration (circle). Registration papers will be filled out after the sale is complete and will be forwarded to the Buyer once received, if not available at the time of sale. Seller will provide paperwork necessary for registration with the American Stock Dog Registry (ASDR).

_______This puppy is not out of registered stock and ASDR registration papers will not be provided for this puppy.

Breeder reserve's the right to affix the kennel name(s) before a registry name for the dog. “Ramblin Ranch” will be wrote at the beginning of your puppies registration paper's under the “name” section. Buyer can then name their puppy/dog anything following that. (i.e. Ramblin Ranch Rustic Rose). If this is changed in anyway; ASDR will be notified and registration will be terminated for this puppy.

 

Health Guarantee & Nu Vet Supplements:

Your puppy has been started on Royal Canin mini starter puppy food. You will be sent home with a starter kit and coupon for a free bag. Although, I don't require you to keep your puppy on this food I do highly recommend it as it has an abundance of health benefits for your puppy and designed to keep you dog in good health. Because of the variety and quality of different dog foods available (and all canine illness are not covered by vaccination), Your puppy has been started on Nu Vet, Daily Immune System Support Supplement “Wafers”. We require that all Ramblin pups to be kept on “NuVet Plus Canine”. This nutritional supplement is only available through breeder recommendation. The order line number is 1-800-474-7044. Your order code is: 46862. You must use my order code when ordering these supplements. NuVet Labs sends us a monthly report on what dogs are being supplemented with NuVet Plus Canine. Note: This health guarantee will be considered Null and Void if you do not keep your puppy on this supplement. We work hard to provide you with a happy healthy puppy from the very earliest stages of life and it is your responsibility to keep them that way for a long and healthy life. Ramblin Ranch warranties that the puppy to be free of communicable diseases, in good health and of stable temperament; having been well socialized. Puppy will have received it's first set of vaccinations and de-worming's. Buyer has 72 hours to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian for general health from the date of delivery/pick-up on _______________(excluding weekends and/or holidays). Failure to do so will result in any warranties being canceled.

Ramblin Ranch accepts no liability for any communicable diseases after 72 hours from when the puppy leaves the possession of the seller. If the puppy does not pass a general health exam, Buyer agrees to notify Ramblin Ranch within 72 hours and provide a copy of the original signed licensed veterinary statement of health. Minor, treatable problems such as diarrhea, coccidiosis, parasites, etc. are common problems in puppies especially under stress of new circumstances and will not be covered by warranty, although every effort is made to prevent this. Buyer acknowledges that Ramblin Ranch is not responsible for Buyer's veterinary expenses at any time or under any circumstance.

Ramblin Ranch also warranties this puppy free from “genetic defects” (i.e. deafness, serious eye defect, etc.) that would prevent this puppy from being a companion animal, until the puppy is of one year of age. If this puppy is found to have a genetic defect of this kind, this must be verified by a licensed veterinarian. In case of a eye deformity/abnormality, written notification must come to the Seller from a board certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist. If a genetic disorder is found that meets the qualification's under these conditions, Seller will then replace the puppy with one of the same sex and coat color from the first available litter (puppy to be determined by the Seller). The puppy shall be returned to the Seller at Buyer's expense. If Buyer wants to keep the puppy, it must be neutered/spayed at Buyer's expense and they will be able to purchase another puppy, of their choice from the Seller and will be given a price discount of an amount equal to 50% of the purchase price of the original puppy. Under no circumstances will the money be refunded.

This contract will only be valid while Ramblin Ranch is breeding Australian Shepherds. Should the seller discontinue breeding dogs, this contract shall be void. This contract Is between the Seller and the Buyer(s) signed below. If this puppy is sold to a third party, this contract shall be void.

 

Purchase Agreement:

It is Ramblin Ranch's sincere intention that none of their puppies/dogs are ever taken to a shelter. If at any point in the future, the Buyer cannot keep this puppy/dog, the Seller agrees to assist in finding this animal a new home. At any time, the Buyer can surrender the dog back to the Seller. The puppy is warrantied only for the purpose of being a pet/companion animal. Although it could be capable/suitable of performing other functions, such as show or breeding, however no warranty is being given for that purpose.

If Full Right's were given with this puppy, and it is used to do so in the future, the seller ask that the Buyer do so responsibly, and recommend that the males be at least one year of age before being used for breeding and females at least one year of age and had at least one prior heat cycle before being bred.

Seller cannot guarantee adult size or conformation of the puppy/dog. Although we will try to give you our best guess, sometimes puppies do not grow to what we expect or grow larger. Buyer hereby releases Seller and agrees to hold harmless for any liability, injuries, damages to persons or property caused by this puppy/dog. Buyer shall assume full responsibility for the health, temperament, and appearance of the puppy/dog upon when the puppy leaves the premise of the Seller.

The Buyer must follow the regular vaccine, de-worming, and hear-worm schedule for the first year of the puppies life for this contract to be validated. Failure to do so causes this contract to become null and void. In case of litigation, the venue shall be Douglas county, Kansas.

 

Shipping:

If Puppy is shipped to the buyer, Buyer agrees to pay the shipping costs, which include airfare, cost of crate, necessary supplies provided with puppy aboard flight, and veterinary health certificate from licensed veterinary clinic. Seller agrees to make all necessary shipping arrangements. Cost for shipping by airline, pet cargo EST. is $450 (subject to change with airfare/location) and shipping by airline with a puppy nanny EST. is $650 (subject to change with airfare/location). Flights will be determined by availability and in the best interest of the puppy (i.e. fewest stops, shortest travel time, etc.) If buyer chooses to pick up the puppy/meet at location, they are responsible for providing their own crate for transport. Temperature and distance will effect/determine if a puppy can be transported as pet cargo! Ground travel is also available and fee's vary. Ground transport will be from a USDA licensed transporter. Fee's vary and individual quotes will be obtained and given for ground transport.

 

Purchase Price:

Buyer agrees to the total payment of $____________in purchasing the puppy described above. Seller will accept a $__________, non-refundable deposit to hold puppy in Buyer's name until full payment is received. The puppy will not be delivered/picked up until full payment is received and puppy is at least 8 weeks of age. Payment may be made by cash, cashier's check/money order, credit card or PayPal. If using PayPal, I ask that the Paypal be sent as a transfer of funds to avoid their 3% fee or Buyer cover the additional 3% fee if sent as a purchase order.
